The deadline has passed (2024-02-18), however the system is still open for late applications. So if you have not yet made an application, please make one as soon as possible.
Please carefully read all instructions at each step of the application process.
You only need to make one application for a Lund University Global Scholarship, regardless of how many programmes you have applied to in the same application round.
Who can apply: The scholarship is only available to non-EU/EEA citizens who are required to pay tuition fees. Students who have made a complete application in a regular application round to Bachelor's or Master's level studies leading to a degree at Lund University, and paid the application fee before the deadline (if applicable), can apply for this scholarship.
Scholarship awards: This is a tuition scholarship - partial or full tuition fee costs may be covered. No living costs are covered.
Merit-based: This scholarship is based on academic merits and a clear motivation to study at Lund University.
What to prepare: For the Lund University Global Scholarship, you need to write a scholarship motivation letter (maximum 600 words, saved as a PDF file) to submit your application. Please note that the scholarship motivation letter is different from any statement of purpose you may be required to submit as part of your programme-specific application documents. Your scholarship motivation letter should explain why your academic performance and reasons for applying to Lund University make you a suitable recipient for a Lund University Global Scholarship.
Please note that if you are also interested in applying for the African Research University Alliance (ARUA) scholarship (you are a high-achieving African student who have previously studied at one of the member universities in the African Research University Alliance), you also need to prepare a 1 minute long motivation video. More information is available at the ARUA scholarship webpage.
Login details: You need your www.universityadmissions.se application number, and the email address you used when you submitted your application to www.universityadmissions.se. Please note that the email address is case-sensitive (it has to be written EXACTLY as it is written into the system at www.universityadmissions.se).
Deadline to apply: February 18, 2024.
Scholarship recipients will be contacted directly by Lund University after the official admission results for studies have been published at www.universityadmissions.se.
